Day 4
FOUR freaking degrees Celsius this morning
can breathe out vapour while exhaling.
Visited ChangJiang bridge (长江大桥).
it's the longest bridge in the world that can transport both vehicles and trains in the same bridge.
went all the way to the top of the bridge, caught a magnificent view of the whole bridge and the area around it
the changjiang bridge. it's misty in the morning
3rd level is for vehicles. 2nd level is for trains. 4th level is where i am standing taking this photo

inside one of the bridge pillars there's a shui jing(水晶) museum.
it was opened by some kind guy(forgot his name - -;) who donates all his profits of 水晶 artworks to the fund the daily operation of this bridge.
i forgot his name but i got his picture. lol

one of his masterpiece
Sightsee Mochou Lake (莫愁湖) thereafter.
its just a simple lake, nothing much to see except that there's one lady in the past jumped into this lake in order to avoid the emperor.
A rumour somemore.
-.-
okay whatever it is, i didnt know why are we touring this lake.
i am quite sick of lakes lol
Visited Nanjing's jade carvings workshop/museum.
not a very suitable place for me. lol
its just another place for ladies to spend their money.
mom took 1 whole hour to choose a jade ring.
i slacked around, talking to my tour lead.
thats when i found out he lives in bedok too. lol
Lunched in a restaurant inside the jade carving museum.
Proceed on to Wuxi (无锡)
2hrs journey from Nanjing.
Reached Wuxi at around 3pm.
Toured Three-Kingdom Movie & TV City(三国城).
that's the place where all the dramas are filmed.
三国演义,還珠格格,扒仙过海 were some of the dramas that were filmed here.

Dined in a restaurant beside Taihu Lake (太湖)
TaiHu is the biggest lake in china, in the meantime, shallowest.
Wuxi's dishes are mostly sweet.
because according to my tour guide he said pple in wuxi would rather put more sugar than salt,
and he said the better their mood, the more sugar they put. -.-
Tasted wuxi's famous Wuxi pork ribs and Taihu's hairy crabs.
A very good meal especially after Nanjing's dinner nightmare.
after dinner was again shopping.
As the coach approaches Wuxi's central, i was in awe.
the whole wuxi's central is like orchard road.
no kidding.
everywhere are shopping centres and entertainment area.
so i separated myself from the tour group and waited for yujing at parkson shopping centre entrance.
i've appointed her as my Wuxi personal tour guide =]
she brought me to a famous restaurant (forgot the restaurant name =/)
tasted delicious big prawn wantons and xiaolongbao.
yujing forced me to devour all the 10 wantons when i was already damn full -.-
accompanied her to bookstore.
over there the bookstore was entire whole building.
damn big.
decided to go starbucks to have coffee, but passed by mario wonderworld.
lol it's an arcade. underground arcade.
1 token is only renmingbi 50 cents, so we spent the whole night there playing =/
10pm went back to Parkson to meet yujing's mom.
they sent me back to my hotel, which is just located beside Wuxi's railway station.
1st time i took china's public bus transport.
it's a flat fare of two renmingbi per ride, regardless of ride distance.
quite comfortable and clean, and the public buses have tv mobile too. lol
slept at 12 midnight. Worn out. Heading back to Shanghai next day =D
